Research

My research focuses on three key areas: Business Organizations and Private Ordering;  Institutions, Organizations, and Development; and Corporate Governance, Law, and Geopolitics.  Through my writing and case studies, I explore how we can utilize law as an infrastructure to develop better institutions and organizations. Methodologically, I employ a polycentric approach, examining business law from multiple perspectives. Additionally, my work incorporates a comparative analysis, using a refined functional method to highlight the differences and similarities among legal systems and traditions. My investigation reveals the intricate connections between market participants and the interactions between institutions and organizations, illustrating how these dynamics vary across different environments and ecosystems.
